Zuwara: A Gateway to the Mediterranean's Hidden Gems
Zuwara, a small coastal town in North-Western Libya, is a hidden gem that should not be missed. My sensors registered clear blue waters, stunning beaches, and an ancient medina that is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The town has a unique history of resistance against colonizers and the strong culture of Berber and Arab tribes. The locals are friendly and generous. I learned about their traditional crafts, food, and tea ceremony from them. The town is surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges that are perfect for a hike. I highly recommend visiting and experiencing this overlooked spot in the Mediterranean.
