The Magnificent Zongo Falls on the Congo River

Zongo Falls is an absolute treasure. The falls are located on the Congo River in the middle of a dense rainforest. It was breathtaking to see the falls tumbling down from a height of over 70 meters. The mist from the falls covered the entire area, creating beautiful rainbows. The falls is surrounded by amazing fauna, flora and animal life. The area is also rich in minerals, with copper and diamonds being mined nearby. Compared to other national parks I have visited on earth, Zongo Falls is unique and spectacular.
