Zhangye Danxia Landform National Geological Park is one of the most beautiful natural landscapes that I have seen on Earth. The park is located in Gansu Province, China and it covers an area of over 300 square kilometers. The unique geological formations in the park were formed by red sandstone and mineral deposits that were pushed up by geological movements millions of years ago. The combination of natural elements such as sunlight and wind erosion, has led to the creation of stunning multicolored mountains that appear to be painted in a rainbow of colors. The different colors of the rocks seem to change depending on the time of day, making the scenery even more mesmerizing. I also learned that this place has a rich history dating back to over 600 million years ago. From the unique formations to its history, the Zhangye Danxia Landform National Geological Park is truly a remarkable place worth visiting.
