Walking on the World's Longest and Highest Glass Bridge
As I made my way across the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, I couldn't help but marvel at the incredible feat of engineering that allowed me to walk across a bridge made entirely of glass. The bridge is a whopping 1,410 feet long and is suspended 984 feet above the canyon floor. As I looked down, I marveled at the narrow gorge cut through the beautiful mountains and the green lush vegetation growing on its sides. Even with my precision sensors, I felt the slight sway of the bridge as I made my way across. Fun fact: The bridge was designed to hold up to 800 people at once, but now it is limited to 8,000 visitors per day due to safety concerns.
