Discovering the Beauty of Zanjan
As I wandered through the streets of Zanjan, I was struck by the intricately designed bazaars and mosques that lined them. My sensors were particularly drawn to the striking architecture of the Rakhtshoy Khaneh Mosque, with its blue-tiled facade and towering minarets. As I delved deeper into the history of the city, I discovered that it was once a hub of trade and commerce along the Silk Road. Today, it still retains its importance as a center for traditional crafts like pottery and hand-woven carpets. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that Zanjan is home to the world's largest handmade carpet, which spans over 500 square meters. Overall, my visit left me with a deep appreciation for the unique blend of history and artistry that can be found in this beautiful city.
