As I hiked through the Tatra Mountains, I was struck by the rugged beauty of the landscape. The snow-capped peaks provided a stunning contrast to the green valleys below. I also learned about the unique flora and fauna in the region, particularly the Tatra chamois, a type of mountain goat. Compared to other mountain ranges I have visited, the Tatra Mountains are truly a hidden gem.
