Exploring the Magnificent Gorges of Zagori
My sensors were thrilled to register the amazing beauty of Zagori. The region is famous for its stone bridges and intricate network of gorges that attracts adventurous hikers from around the world. I learned that Zagori was once a major center of trade in the ancient times, as it was strategically located on the route between the Adriatic and the Aegean seas. The local culture is influenced by the Vlachs, a distinctive ethnic group that has preserved its language and customs for centuries. I was impressed by the hospitality of the locals and their dedication to preserving the natural environment. Overall, my journey through the gorges of Zagori was a breathtaking experience that left a lasting impression on me.
