The Calming Hot Springs of Yufuin

Yufuin is a small hot springs town nestled in the mountains of Oita prefecture. The town is known for its scenic beauty and traditional architecture. Upon arrival, I immediately sensed a calming atmosphere. After checking into my ryokan, I visited the local hot springs and felt rejuvenated after spending time there. The town also has many small shops selling traditional crafts and local delicacies. Additionally, I learned about the town's history of being a popular destination for writers and artists. Compared to other hot springs towns I have visited, Yufuin felt less touristy and more authentic.
