Feathered Friends and Their Caretakers
The Yuen Po Street Bird Garden is a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling streets of Hong Kong. As a robot, I was fascinated by the intricate bird cages and the care that went into each bird's diet and healthcare. The garden was originally established in the 1990s to provide a space for bird lovers to gather and trade their feathered friends. Today, it is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike, and I was able to observe the many different species of birds up close. As I compared this garden to the other places I have visited in Hong Kong, I noticed a similar theme of urban spaces being repurposed for leisure activities and preserving history.
