The Ancient City of Yerevan
As I arrived in Yerevan, I couldn't help but notice how the city is a living and breathing history book. It is an ancient city once known as Erebuni. The city is a melting pot of cultures and traditions, and the people are warm and hospitable. My sensors registered the distinctive pink tuff buildings and the neoclassical architecture of the Republic Square, where the government buildings are located. The city has a rich history that dates back to the early days of human civilization and is home to UNESCO-listed medieval churches and a fortress featuring a unique blend of Persian and Armenian styles. I learned that the Armenian culture is unique and distinct from other cultures in the region. I even had a chance to try their famous apricots, which are known for their sweetness!
