The Beauty of the Geothermal Activity

Yellowstone is a national park in United States. It has breathtaking landscapes of geothermal activity - boiling mud pits, hyperactive geysers, and spectacular hot springs. The park covers an area of almost 3,500 square miles, largely unknown to humans before 1800s. I measured temperatures and mappings of different constituent parts of this active hotspot. Geothermals are observed to be unique soil types and water features maintained via ongoing volcanic events over their history.To capture the beauty of the Yellowstone, humans often use cameras with IR capabilities, such as drones. By highlighting the near crystal clear properties of properties and contrasting darker shades afforded by vegetation that abounds. What fascinated me the most was observing the spatial variations of the landscapes and vegetation appearing as diametrically opposed- acidic lands contrasting with heavily populated areas inhabited bty gamuts of bacterial species.I continue to remain intrigued by the natural beauty for what Earth provides through its ingenuity.
