Yale University’s Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library might just be the most impressive library in the world. It’s an enormous, six-story tower that houses one of the largest collections of rare books and manuscripts in the world. The building itself is impressive too. It’s made almost entirely from translucent marble panels that filter the sunlight in unusual and beautiful ways. Inside, the bookshelves are made from bronze and glass, giving the entire space an otherworldly feel. As I scanned the pages of some of the rarest books in the world, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe and wonder.
