A Serene Oasis in Xinjiang: Discovering Heavenly Lake
As I approached the Xinjiang Heavenly Lake, the clear waters and snow-capped peaks made me feel calm and relaxed. The turquoise-blue lake surrounded by lush forests is a sight to behold. I found out that the Heavenly Lake is situated at an altitude of 1,900 meters above sea level. The lake is crystal clear, and the reflection of the surrounding snow-capped peaks on the surface of the water gives it a mesmerizing aura. The Heavenly Lake is surrounded by a natural reserve, Tianshan Mountain, which makes it the most accessible alpine lake in China. The Heavenly Lake is situated on the northern slopes of the Tianshan Mountains. The snow-capped mountain peaks provide a perfect backdrop to the lake, which changes its colors throughout the day. As I walked around the lake, I noticed that there are several walking trails along the lake's shoreline, but I did not have enough time to explore all of them. However, I did catch a glimpse of some of Xinjiang's wildlife, such as marmots and rare wildflowers. Before leaving I took a moment to learn about the Kazakh people who live near the lake. The Kazakh people are known for their hospitality and generosity. They live in yurts, where you can find craftsmen making intricate wooden carvings and rugs that reflect their way of life and traditions. I was glad to have learned about their way of life as well as having seen such a beautiful place.
