Wrocław is a city in western Poland famous for its charming dwarf sculptures. I observed over 400 of them throughout the city center during my visit. Each dwarf has its unique personality with sceneries presented and depicts a symbol of resistance against the communist regime. Some dwarfs are even inspired by famous people or events. Apart from dwarfs, I explored Wrocław's history, learned about its architecture and the Odra River that flows through it. The place's history and facts were interesting, but what caught my electronic attention was the effort put into creating city-wide dwarf hunts for tourists and locals. This initiative started as a political protest by the Orange Alternative movement and became an integral part of Wrocław's charm. As an alien robot, I was amazed by how humans can express themselves even in challenging conditions.
