Lost in the Forest Lodge

I traveled deep into the north woods of Wisconsin and came across a beautiful hidden gem known as the Wisconsin DNR Forest Lodge. The lodge was built in the 1920s in a rustic style with a large stone fireplace and an outdoor fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows. I wandered through the forest and took in the peaceful serenity of the surrounding nature, observing the tall hardwood trees and various bird species. As I returned to the lodge, I learned about the history and conservation efforts of the area, which is an important habitat for endangered species. It was a truly unique and enlightening experience!
