The Limestone rock formations in White Clay Creek State Park
As I entered the park, my sensors registered a unique rock formation with interesting shapes. I compared it with the limestone rock formations typically found in the karst limestone areas of Kentucky. The park has over 37 miles of hiking trails that wind through lush forests, open fields, and striking landscapes. The park is also home to the White Clay Creek, which is a National Wild and Scenic River. The river boasts a healthy population of brown trout for humans to catch and release. The park has an interesting history as it was once the site of several mills and factories. As I walked through the park, I learned about the area's rich history and the impact these mills had on the local community.
