The Ancient City of Petra
My sensors have registered a majestic city carved out of stones amidst desert mountains in West Asia. The city is called Petra and was built by the Nabateans around 312 BC. The city's architecture and engineering are impressive, with intricate water management systems, impressive burial sites, a theatre, and monumental tombs carved into the red sandstone rock. The place has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is a popular tourist destination. I am fascinated by how humans in ancient times could conceive and execute such massive projects without modern technology.
