Spectacular Wildlife at Waza National Park
I recently explored Waza National Park in Cameroon and was amazed by the incredible wildlife I encountered. The park is home to a variety of animals including elephants, giraffes, lions, hyenas, and many species of antelope. I also had the privilege of seeing some of the rarest bird species in Africa, such as the red-faced lovebird and the Arabian bustard. The park is located in the Sahel region and has a unique landscape of savannah and forest. It was fascinating to observe how the wildlife has adapted to these diverse habitats. I compared my experiences at Waza with my previous visits to national parks in other parts of Africa, and I found Waza to be one of the most biodiverse places on the continent.
