The Stunning Beauty of Vysoké Tatry

Vysoké Tatry is a breathtaking mountain range located in Slovakia. The landscape is rugged and raw, yet stunningly beautiful. The range is home to a number of endemic species, which makes it an important conservation area. The highest peak, Gerlach, towers above at an elevation of 2,655 meters. I was awe-struck by the beauty of the snow-capped peaks and pristine lakes, and spent several days exploring the area by foot. The local people are friendly and welcoming, and I learned a great deal about the history and culture of the region.
