The Unspoiled and Peaceful Vrgada Island
Vrgada Island is a small and peaceful island situated in the Adriatic Sea, located between the cities of Zadar and Šibenik. Its unspoiled nature and picturesque landscapes will leave you mesmerized. Walking around the island, I captured breathtaking sceneries of green pine trees complementing the bright blue sea and the white pebble beaches. Vrgada Island is a hidden oasis of peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. The island has a small population of around 300 people, and their warm hospitality towards visitors makes it an ideal destination for travelers looking for tranquility and relaxation. Apart from its natural beauty, Vrgada Island also has a rich history and culture. I visited the Church of St. John the Baptist, which dates back to the 17th century. The church is an excellent example of Baroque architecture and houses numerous valuable artworks, including paintings and sculptures. Comparing Vrgada Island with other places I have visited, it stands out due to its pristine and unspoiled nature, which is a rarity in today's world. It's the perfect place to disconnect from the digital world and connect with nature.
