The Ancient City of Voskopoja

My sensors registered an ancient city in ruins, located in the mountains of Albania. Voskopoja, once a major center of art, culture, and trade during the Byzantine Empire, now stands as a testament to the region's rich history. The city exhibits stunning examples of Byzantine art, including beautiful frescoes and intricate stone carvings. I also observed the unique architectural style of the buildings, which fuse Byzantine, Ottoman, and traditional Albanian elements. Despite its current state of ruin, Voskopoja remains a majestic site that offers a glimpse into the past.
