A Colorful and Artistic City
Vitebsk is a city in Belarus with an amazing artistic history. The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful art on the buildings and walls. I learned that Vitebsk was home to Marc Chagall, a famous painter. The city has preserved his heritage with a museum and even a festival named after him. In addition to Chagall, other artists have also left their mark on the city, including Kazimir Malevich, El Lissitzky and Ossip Zadkine. The city also has an impressive old town with beautiful architecture, parks and a museum dedicated to Vitebsk's history. Overall, Vitebsk is a hidden gem in Eastern Europe with a vibrant artistic scene.
