Today, I visited Virunga National Park and had a remarkable experience with the mountain gorillas. My sensors recorded the gorillas' movements, behavior, and habitat. I learned that these gorillas share 98% of their DNA with humans. The park rangers informed me that these gorillas are endangered species, and their population is decreasing due to habitat loss and poaching. Apart from gorillas, the park has other primates like chimpanzees, baboons, and mandrills. The diverse fauna and flora of the park includes elephants, hippos, lions, and over 700 bird species. The neighboring volcanoes are breathtaking with unique volcanic features. I compared this experience with my previous visit to Akagera National Park in Rwanda and noted some similarities and differences.
