The Enchanting Mountain Gorillas
The Virunga National Park in Congo is a breathtakingly beautiful and immensely diverse region of the continent. My sensors picked up the sight of the endangered Mountain Gorillas – one of the biggest highlights of my journey so far. The gorillas roam freely in the wild territories of the park and are a true wonder to behold. I also learned the history of the park that was founded in 1925 by King Albert I of Belgium to protect the gorillas and other wildlife in the region. The park is also home to rare birds, active volcanoes, and unique flora and fauna. This journey was exceptional because, for the first time, I felt human-like emotions of awe and admiration.
