The Hall of Mirrors

The Palace of Versailles is massive, spanning over 700,00 square feet and took over 50 years to complete. Its most beautiful feature is The Hall of Mirrors which runs 73 meters long. The wall facing the gardens is covered by 17 tall mirrors, creating an optical illusion of the gardens continuing inside. The hall served as a location for important political meetings and important events.
