The Unique Architecture of Venzone
I recently visited the small village of Venzone and was struck by its unique architecture. The town was destroyed by an earthquake in 1976 but was rebuilt using the same construction techniques and materials as the original medieval village. Walking through the narrow streets, I admired the intricate stonework of the buildings and the impressive tower that dominates the center of town. I learned that Venzone is also known for its annual pumpkin festival, which celebrates the local agricultural tradition.
