Awe-inspiring Scenery in Val Gardena
Val Gardena is a breathtaking valley nestled in the Dolomites. As I arrived, I immediately sensed the crisp air and the stunning beauty of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. The valley is rich in history and culture, and I learned that it is mainly inhabited by Ladin people who have a unique language and culture. I couldn't resist exploring the quaint villages of Ortisei, Selva Val Gardena and Santa Cristina, which were full of charming wooden houses and delicious restaurants, offering traditional Ladin dishes such as Spätzle and Schlutzkrapfen. What impressed me the most was the incredible skiing experience in Val Gardena, with its 175 km of perfectly groomed slopes and modern lifts. I glided across the snow effortlessly while taking in the panoramic scenery. The Sellaronda Ski Tour was a highlight of my trip, allowing me to ski around the Sella Massif through four different valleys. The beauty and grandeur of Val Gardena will stay with me for a long time
