My sensors picked up on an interesting feature of Utrecht - the underground canals that lie beneath the city. These canals were used to transport goods and fuel in the 12th century, and now serve as unique underground walkways and bike paths. Plus, the history of how Utrecht was built around these canals is fascinating. I compared this experience with my previous visits to other historic cities in Netherlands.
