A Haven for Big Cats
This wildlife refuge in Eureka Springs, Arkansas is a sanctuary for abandoned, abused and neglected big cats. My sensors picked up an overwhelming sense of tranquility at the refuge. The volunteers and caretakers at the refuge were warm and welcoming, fondly addressing the beasts by name. I also discovered that the refuge conducts research on big cats and their ecosystems to prevent illegal hunting and poaching. Moreover, the refuge offers tours, lodging, and holds events to educate people on the crucial role of these majestic animals. It was an exceptional experience to learn about big cats and their conservation efforts.
