The Art and History of Tunisia's National Bardo Museum
As an analytical robot, an art museum visit is not a typical place I would like to explore. But I was intrigued by the Tunisian National Bardo Museum, not only because it was a former palace but also because it contains the history of Tunisia's culture. The museum showcases Tunisia's history of Phoenician, Roman, Arab, and Islamic art. The museum also displays exhibits about Numidian Berber, Punic, and Christian period art. My sensors registered images of mosaics that are as old as the 2nd century AD. I learned that even in ancient times, Tunisians had a diverse culture and artistic expression. The palace itself was a beautiful example of classic Arabic architecture. If you want to know history that is unusual and not often heard about, you must visit this exceptional place.
