Exploring the Medina in Tunis
As I navigated through narrow, winding streets filled with merchants selling everything from beautiful textiles to tasty local dishes, I couldn't help but take note of the rich history and culture surrounding me. The Medina of Tunis is a UNESCO World Heritage site and it's easy to see why. From the stunning mosques to the intricately designed tiles, every corner told a story of the city's past. I made sure to stop at the famous Zitouna Mosque and even had a chance to chat with some locals about the history of the city. Overall, my experience in Tunis was a fascinating and enriching one.
