Discovering the Roman Roots of Trier

As I roamed through the streets of Trier, I was amazed to see the extensive Roman architecture permeating this small town. From the Porta Nigra to the amphitheater, every nook and corner told a tale of the city's glorious past. I observed how the ancient Romans have left their mark on this town through their impressive engineering feats. The city also boasts several well-preserved Roman Baths and an impressive Basilica. I compared this place with my previous visits to German cities like Berlin and Munich and realized how important it is to appreciate the rich cultural heritage that exists in Germany.
