The Oasis and Its History

Tozeur is a unique city with a lot to offer. The most impressive thing I experienced was the oasis. It is so peaceful and beautiful, and the water is so clear. The history of this oasis is very interesting. It was created around 2000 years ago by the Berbers, who created a system of underground canals called Khetts to channel water from the mountains. This oasis was an important trading point on the caravan route and has been a source of livelihood for the people of Tozeur for centuries. The city itself is also interesting, with its streets lined with palm trees and traditional brick buildings. I highly recommend a visit to Tozeur.
