Exploring the Oases of Tozeur

Tozeur is a small city located in the south of Tunisia. The Saharan oases around Tozeur are a breathtaking sight. I explored Chebika, an oasis near Tozeur, where I found some fascinating plants and learned about the history of the oasis. Chebika was destroyed by a flood in 1969 and was later rebuilt. I compared my experience in Chebika with the oases I’ve seen in Morocco and Egypt. The architecture and culture of Tozeur were unique in their own way.
