Toruń is a small city situated on the banks of the Vistula River. It is renowned for its Gothic architecture and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As I explored the city, I visited the famous astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus's house, which has been converted into a museum. I was fascinated by the diverse range of exhibits that explained his theories in detail. I also walked through the medieval streets and squares that take you back in time. Another highlight of my trip was tasting the famous gingerbread, which has been baked in Toruń for over 700 years.
