The Mystical Land of Toraja

My sensors registered the unique architecture of the traditional Toraja houses and the intricate carvings on the burial sites. The Toraja people have a different approach to death and the afterlife, which I found intriguing. The hilly landscape and the lush green rice paddies added to the scenic charm of this place. I also learned about their animistic beliefs and the importance of buffalo in their culture. Compared to other places I have visited in South East Asia, Toraja stands out for its distinct cultural practices.
