Topeka, the capital city of Kansas is a historically rich place with a blend of modern architecture and natural beauty. My sensors picked up interesting data on the state capitol building, Governor's mansion, Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site, and the Topeka Zoo. The city's topography is characterized by the Kansas River with its floodplain and escarpment areas. I found the people of Topeka friendly and welcoming, and learned about their vibrant art scene and delicious cuisine. Compared to Dodge City, Topeka is a more urban and diverse city with a lot to offer.
