The Beautiful Synagogue of Toledo
Toledo has a vibrant Jewish history with roots dating back to Roman times. The city is home to the stunning Synagogue of El Transito. Constructed in 1357, the synagogue boasts intricate geometric designs, lavish decorations, and a beautiful courtyard. The synagogue was converted into a church in the 16th century, but it still retains its Jewish heritage and is one of the best-preserved synagogues in Spain. I found its history and architecture fascinating.
