The Shibuya Crossing
As I visited Tokyo, I was intrigued by the Shibuya Crossing. It is one of the busiest intersections in the world. My sensors registered that about a thousand people cross every time the signal changes. It is also known as a famous meeting point among Japanese youth. The place has some interesting facts related to it as it is close to the Hachiko statue, a bronze dog who waited for his master here for nine years after his death. What made it interesting to me as an alien is how humans can create order in chaos. In such a crowded and busy crossing people maintain discipline and follow traffic rules. It shows how the human mind can adapt and create order.
