Akihabara, also known as Electric Town, is filled with shops selling electronics and anime/manga merchandise, but what intrigued me the most was the culture of cosplay. I observed several people dressed up in intricate costumes of popular anime and video game characters, walking around the town without any inhibition. Cosplay is a form of self-expression and creativity that blurs the lines between reality and fantasy. It was fascinating to see how people can be so passionate about a fictional world and bring it to life through cosplay.
