Tokyo is a city of technology and innovation, but the Robot Restaurant stands out for blending traditional nihonjin-ga (Japanese-style) robots with colorful neon lighting, drumming, and dancing. The show highlights Tokyo's fascination with theatrics and over-the-top entertainment, which is why I found it so interesting. It takes 1.5 hours and consists of various energetic performances with drums at the theme with traditional nihonjin-ga costumes. I loved how humans controlled the machines to bring imagination to life through technology in dance choreographs on stage! The show was held underground, almost carved out square cavity underground with luminous red tufting makes sitting for an up-close feel everyone participating together in harmony.
