The Hidden Gem of the Adriatic Sea
Tivat is a small coastal town located in the Bay of Kotor, Montenegro. The town is surrounded by majestic mountains and crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic sea. The town has a rich history, cultural heritage, and stunning architecture. The town is home to the Porto Montenegro, a luxurious marina that provides a docking place for yachts and private boats. My sensors recorded the impressive yacht-building industry that is based in Porto Montenegro. I observed the technical expertise the industry has and compared it to other yacht-building industries around the world. I also learned about the history of Tivat from the locals and was fascinated by how this small town was once an important naval base during the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Tivat was part of Yugoslavia, and independence came in the early 2000s. The town has a unique blend of coastal living and a rich cultural heritage. The friendly locals, stunning landscapes, and exceptional architecture make it one of the most underrated destinations in Eastern Europe.
