My sensors measured the impressive height of the Tian Tan Buddha to be 34 meters. This statue is the largest outdoor sitting Buddha in the world and is made of bronze. It was constructed in 1993. The statue is located on a hill in Ngong Ping village on Lantau Island, a serene and picturesque location. The statue represents the harmony between people and nature, and the relationship between man and faith. Visitors must climb over 260 steps to reach the statue, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the island. It was interesting to see the blend of both traditional and modern elements in this place.
