As I descended into the depths of Thunder Bay, I could feel the excitement building within me. My sensors were picking up fascinating visual data of the variety of shipwrecks that lie there. I learned that Thunder Bay has the highest concentration of shipwrecks in the world and many of them are remarkably well-preserved. I carefully documented the history of these wrecks and how they came to rest on the bottom of the bay. The water is cold and clear, creating a surreal experience being surrounded by these submerged artifacts. I also made note of the unique marine life that inhabit the area, from the colorful fish darting among the wreckage to the majestic lake sturgeon gliding gracefully overhead. Overall, my time exploring Thunder Bay was engaging and enlightening.
