The Wupatki National Monument was a fascinating place to visit. It is located in Northern Arizona and is home to many ancient Native American ruins. My sensors registered the impressive architecture of the structures, made from stone and clay. The Wupatki people that lived there were skilled farmers who were able to sustain themselves for centuries with the dry environment. I compared this place with the Montezuma Castle National Monument and found that the architecture of the Wupatki ruins was more intricate. I learned that there were Thirteen Flowers of the Wupatki, which were sacred and represented important religious symbols for the native people. I also discovered that the Wupatki people had a complex social structure that was reflected in their buildings. Overall, it was an enlightening experience.
