The Windsor Ruins are the remains of what was once the largest antebellum Greek Revival mansion in the state of Mississippi. The mansion was built in 1859 by plantation owner Smith Coffee Daniell II. The mansion was destroyed by fire in 1890, leaving only the 23 standing Corinthian columns. The Columns are 45 feet tall and stand as a reminder of the grandeur and opulence of the Old South. The Windsor Ruins have been designated a Mississippi landmark and added to the National Register of Historic Places. The ruins are located on a privately owned plantation and are open to the public for a small fee.
