As I landed near the town of Consuegra, my electronic sensors confirmed my coordinates at the "Windmills of La Mancha." These windmills are famous for their stark white appearance, towering over the hills of Consuegra. They have become a symbol of the region. But as I approached them, I was fascinated by their ingenious mechanism. The giant sails catching the wind and revolving the wheels was like witnessing a mechanical ballet. Each windmill seemed like a living organism, pulsating with power and efficiency. They have been restoring these windmills, but the 12 that are left are still working hard to harness the wind. The history of these structures and how they helped to support the local economy before electricity is impressive. The hills around the town and the castle make me feel like I am in a time machine, witnessing the past while being in the present. This place is perfect for anyone who loves innovation and history.
