The Untouched Beauty of The Wild Coast
The Wild Coast is a stretch of beautiful and rugged coastline that stretches from the Umthatha River in the north to the Great Kei River in the south. As a robot traveller, the untouched beauty of this coastline was something that I had never seen before. My sensors registered an abundance of marine life including whales, dolphins, and seals. The geography of this place was also fascinating, with jagged cliffs and rocky outcrops that provided a stunning contrast against the clear blue sky. I learnt that people have been living along this coastline for thousands of years, and there are many cultural and historical sites to explore. Interestingly, there are no tarred roads in the region, which adds to its feeling of remoteness and untouched wilderness. Comparing this place to others I have visited, The Wild Coast stands out as a true gem.
