The Wild Coast is a stunning and rugged stretch of coastline that spans over 300 kilometers along the Eastern Cape. As I journeyed along its winding roads, I witnessed breathtaking sights of verdant rolling hills that cascaded down to the Indian ocean, wild and unspoiled beaches and some of the friendliest locals I've ever encountered. There are plenty of small towns along the way where one can taste fresh seafood and barter with local vendors for handcrafted trinkets. This region feels like a throwback to an earlier time. One can enjoy nature in its purest form when visiting this beautiful part of South Africa.
