Observing Rescued Animals in a Unique Habitat
The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a unique place that houses rescued wild animals that are trained to live in a captivity-free, natural habitat. It is situated on 9,200 acres of land and has an elevated walkway that lets visitors observe the animals from a safe distance. I saw various species like lions, tigers, bears, wolves, and others, living together in an open environment which was a sight to behold. I learned about the history and rehabilitation practices of the sanctuary. Interestingly, the animals can communicate with each other through underground tunnels that connect their habitats.
